This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data when you join the auuux waiting list through this website. We keep it short and plain because, at this stage, we collect very little.

Who we are

auuux ("we", "us") is a project run jointly by Francesco Cristaldi, Julian Piscitello and Dario Ferraguti, who act together as the data controllers.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list, we collect the email address you enter in the form. We also automatically record the date and time you signed up.

We do not collect your name, your location, or any other personal detail through the form.

Why we collect it, and on what legal basis

We use your email address for one purpose only: to let you know when auuux launches, and to send you occasional updates about the launch.

The legal basis for this is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see "Your rights" below), and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to understand how many people visit this page and how many join the waiting list. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personal data that identifies you individually — it only produces aggregate statistics. For this reason, this website does not show a cookie banner.

Where your data is stored

Your email address is stored securely on Supabase, our database provider, on servers located in the European Union (Ireland). We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until auuux launches and we have contacted you about it, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. If the project does not launch, we will delete the waiting list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• ask us what personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• withdraw your consent and be removed from the waiting list;
• lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, just email us at info@auuux.app and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

auuux is a project in development. When we launch the full app, this policy will be replaced by a more complete one covering the additional data the app will process. If we make material changes before then, we will update the date at the top of this page.
